RF Excellence Center — RF, SDR Training & AI-Ready Signal Analysis
A technical training and lab infrastructure initiative focused on RF measurement, software-defined radio, spectrum awareness, and applied signal analysis. The center supports hands-on RF/SDR training and provides a foundation for AI-assisted workflows such as signal classification, anomaly detection, spectrum-event labeling, and operator-assistance dashboards.
Context
RF, SDR, and spectrum-analysis skills are scarce, and AI-assisted signal workflows are only useful once real lab data and labelled events exist. Building both — the training capability and the data foundation — is the point of the lab.
Problem
RF, SDR, and spectrum-analysis skills are scarce, and there are few environments where engineers can learn measurement workflows in a structured way. At the same time, AI-assisted signal analysis is increasingly valuable but needs real lab data and labelled events to be useful — and it must be framed honestly, separate from any claim of a finished defense or intelligence system.
What was built / modernized
We support a technical lab focused on RF/SDR training infrastructure and AI-ready signal analysis workflows. The lab provides hands-on training on measurement and software-defined radio, captures labelled spectrum events, and demonstrates AI-assisted classification, anomaly detection, and operator-assistance dashboards on top of that data. The completed RF/SDR training and lab infrastructure is presented separately from these future AI-ready extensions.
Workflow highlights
- Hands-on RF measurement and SDR training workflows
- Signal capture and spectrum-event labelling pipelines
- Operator-assistance dashboards over captured lab data
Security, auditability & governance
- Completed training and lab infrastructure presented separately from future AI extensions
- No claim of a finished defense or intelligence system
AI-ready extension points
- Signal classification and anomaly detection on labelled spectrum events
- Operator-assistance workflows for spectrum awareness
Value delivered
- Builds scarce RF/SDR engineering capability through structured training

Status & transparency
The RF Excellence Center is a technical lab initiative. AI-assisted signal analysis is a documented extension path on top of the lab's data, not a completed product.
